2020-2021 Award Recipients

Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, and the lock-down of so many communities, most of our clubs did not have the opportunity to meet in person, and many of their fundraising and social events and were cancelled.

 

The International Board decided to forego the normal awards structure, as many of them depended on events and activities that would put the clubs out into the community.

 

However, we also decided to award clubs based on membership growth during the Pandemic, and solicited nominations from clubs for individuals that exhibited outstanding community involvement and club activity during the lockdowns.

 

With the COVID protocols in various parts of the country and Canada prohibiting clubs from meeting and holding fund raisers. Many of our rewards are geared to club growth and activities, so the CI Board voted this year to suspend the normal awards structure, as it would not be fair for any clubs that were prohibited from any activities.
